Epcot
Went to Epcot yesterday. A bit drizzly, but not nearly as crowded as The Magic Kingdom. We went to the world pavilion and did the Princess Breakfast with Belle, Mulan, Snow White, Mary Poppins and Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). It was fun for the kids, but was not cheap ($200 for everyone) and was a pretty plain breakfast -- scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, fruit, and cinnamon rolls. No other choices, but for a one-time experience I guess its okay. Of course we are doing lunch at Cinderella's Castle on Tuesday (tomorrow), and it will cost as much.

After the Breakfast we did the Test Track, which was a simulation of the tests performed by GM autos on cars. There was an inclined acceleration, bumpy road, some cornering, a heat room, cold room, and corrosive room (which basically smelled bad), and then a speed test around a circular track. It was okay for the adults, and Mandy really liked it. She wanted to do it again, but the line was 40 minutes long.

So after that we walked around the World Pavilion. We stopped in Mexico and did a lazy river type ride that had a presentation of Mexican history and culture; then we did a water ride in Norway called Maelstrom that had some Norwegian Trolls that sent you on a "wild" river ride. It wasn't so wild, but was a bit more exciting than the Mexico one... some ups and downs, etc... but a bit too short. Then we walked through China, saw a 360 movie (movie playing all around you, panoramic-style).. spent a bit of time in China. It started to drizzle a bit at that point, and people were getting tired, so we decided to head for the gate. Mom and Dad had called and said they'd meet us in Canada, so we ended up fast tracking through Germany, Italy, America, France, Morroco, UK, and spent a little time in Canada before leaving. You could spend a good hour in each of these places, really... but its so much to do at once, and so much walking. We went back to the house and had Mandy's birthday party (cake, ice cream, hot dogs, and mac 'n cheese) with presents. Then we did some swimming. We started watching a movie, but people were tired and it was off to bed.

Anyhow, all-in-all it was a good day. DW was better than Magic Kingdom, and we had lots of fun together at home. Pictures are coming.
